Our new Single Axis Actuators offer you a new level of convenience and production.

Both series of actuators feature a rigid base with selectable length and a selectable width for some types. The diameter and lead for the rolled ball screw are also selectable and many sizes are available to meet the demands of medium and heavy load applications. Many configurations are available from the family of MISUMI Single Axis Actuators making it easy for engineers to find the solution that best fits their needs.

The LX Series is now available for a variety of precision motion control applications in the packaging, machine tool, automotive, appliance, semiconductor, medical and other industries. The new line offers a choice of standard or covered styles in three capacities, with lower overall stage height to conserve space, dowel holes in the base plate for accurate and fast assembly, plus the base length is configurable down to 10mm increments. As with all MISUMI products, there is no minimum quantity and configured units can be supplied in as little as six days. Unit prices start at $460.

Features include an extruded, black chrome plated base for high rigidity with a two-row Gothic arch rail system for stability in all directions of load as well as a precision ball screw with built-in angular and radial contact bearings built in the support and motor bracket. Other features include an integral motor bracket designed to accommodate most servo/stepper motors and integrated ball screw nut and linear guide mechanism on the block for added precision in motion, plus the covered style has two dowel holes in the block to improve location repeatability during assembly and maintenance.

In addition, the covered version further features a patent-pending design where the cover and flanged top plate are interfaced for a lower profile and lower overall stage height. These Misumi single-axis actuators are available in 100-600mm lengths, with one or two blocks standard and 1, 2, 5, 10 or 20 mm leads. All are RoHS compliant.

With a durable and lightweight aluminum extruded base, the MISUMI Single Axis Actuator features 208 different configurations. The diameter and lead for the rolled ball screw are selectable as is the width and length for the aluminum base, making this one of the most configurable Single Axis Actuators available in the market today.

Customers can also choose a medium load or heavy load slide guide so specific application demands can be met. In addition, the top plate is available in two different lengths and also features two tapped holes on both sides.

Compatible with most servo motors

The MISUMI Single Axis Actuator is able to accommodate various servo motors. The inlay which is a (DH7)-toleranced bore that keeps the motor in position, allows easy assembly.

The MISUMI Single Axis Actuator features durable construction making it perfect for applications that require high stiffness and rigidity. It comes equipped with high load and moment capacity ( linear guide/ball screw system) which allows for higher accuracy and repeatability than a lead screw or belt driven unit.

Precision of repetitive positioning

Varies between ±0.03 and ±0.05mm depending on size and stroke (Rolled Ball Screw)
±0.003 for Precision Ball Screw

Measurement is performed in the center and both ends of the travel distance. Calculate maximum difference of measured values in all three positions, divide by half to obtain positioning repeatability. 

Parallelism/Running Accuracy

Varies between 0.06 ~ 0.15mm depending on stroke. This is measured between base and table plate.

Maximum Speed

Varies between 265~1556 mm/s (10.4~31.5in/s) depending on stroke, size and type of ball screw.

Represent max. permissible speed of the ball screw regardless of the maximum rotation speed of the motor.
